Same cluster id (case, cluster1) for server 1 & 2, both have Cluster Directory Override clicked. Server i = 7777, 7778 & 27015 Server 2 = 7779, 7780 & 27016 Both severs have 'Enable Tribute Downloads' checked, and none of the downloads/uploads (survivor/item/dino) are disabled. I have seen a few interesting things on the forums such as "The Ark y'all're travelling to cannot be countersign protected" and "You lot have to directly connect to your public IP, connecting from LAN won't piece of work" I have questions, lamentable; If it prompts me for the password and I enter information technology correctly why is it even so failing? Also, how exercise I connect directly to the public ip of that server if I host both from the aforementioned machine & I'1000 already in game? This is more confusing than I remember - I recollect in the past you could upload your survivor directly and then just switch to the other server and download it upon grapheme creation, but now the only option that's available is "travel to some other server" there'southward no selection to upload my survivor. I consistently fail to 'travel to another server' and get time out errors. Delight save me from my insanity someone | | | | Post by natclanwy on Mar 21, 2021 21:51:47 GMT -five Exercise you lot have your ports forwarded in your router? A cluster requires that your servers be able to communicate with the Steam Servers you lot cannot have a LAN only cluster. If you have your ports forwarded are y'all able to connect to your server using the public IP and query port? You can do and so past adding your server to favorites in Steam. If yous only want a LAN server you tin can get the upload button dorsum by removing the cluster ID which will allow you to upload your graphic symbol and items but won't allow you to transfer with items in your inventory. | | xzenith New Fellow member Posts: 9 Likes: 1 | Post by xzenith on Mar 22, 2021 2:56:30 GMT -v Practise you lot take your ports forwarded in your router? A cluster requires that your servers be able to communicate with the Steam Servers you cannot take a LAN merely cluster. If y'all have your ports forwarded are you able to connect to your server using the public IP and query port? You can do and then by calculation your server to favorites in Steam. If you lot only want a LAN server you tin can go the upload button back by removing the cluster ID which will allow you to upload your graphic symbol and items but won't allow you to transfer with items in your inventory. Yes I have the ports properly forward and yeah I am able to connect to them using the steam > view > servers and past adding the password on the prompt. I have my computer and my gf's computer on this network, but I take a family member that plays as well but not on my network. If I remove the cluster ID volition he be unable to upload? Also thank yous for taking the time to assistance me with this issue | | | | Post past natclanwy on Mar 22, 2021 23:10:45 GMT -5 You didn't exactly answer my question, I wanted to know if you lot can connect via your public IP which is steam > view > servers > favorites > add a server then enter your public IP and query port Your family unit member on the remote network should be able to upload if you remove the cluster ID. Are they able to connect to each server individually? If so there is something incorrect with your cluster ID, all servers using the same cluster ID and are public should be listed. | | xzenith New Fellow member Posts: 9 Likes: ane | Post by xzenith on Mar 23, 2021 0:42:06 GMT -5 You didn't exactly answer my question, I wanted to know if you can connect via your public IP which is steam > view > servers > favorites > add a server then enter your public IP and query port Your family fellow member on the remote network should be able to upload if y'all remove the cluster ID. Yes anybody is able to connect through the public ip + query port (not the router/home 192.168.0.x:port) Also aye, they are able to connect to both servers this style, or through the other various means (friends, my survivors, favorited joined servers, etc) The problem isn't that the server isn't listed when I click "travel to another server" it's that I time out during the transfer. (One-half A SOLUTION SO FAR) Oddly enough, my character seems to have made it through when I endeavour to manually join the other server (later on the 'failed time out'), however I can't seem to transfer whatever of my items or dinosaurs that way | | xzenith New Fellow member Posts: 9 Likes: 1 | Post past xzenith on Mar 26, 2021 xvi:29:48 GMT -v Are you lot getting any other errors or just the timeout? Possibly Buffer Overflow? If not what is the path to your server install and ASM data directory? Nope, just a timeout. No error letters likewise that. C:\Ark Servers C:\ASM Data Directory They're both directly under my C: drive. I've recreated the 'one-half working' transfer nearly a dozen times now, all the same non being able to transfer the dinos and items is still an issue. | |
